Always having a soft spot for toy cars, I decided to collect diecast/hotwheels/ models/ stuff, related to just one vehicle in an attempt to hold down the size. I zeroed in on my favorite truck, '56 Ford only. No 55's, no 57, no passenger, still got pretty big.
Hmmm I collect computer parts (not intentionally) and old bicycles. The old bicycles I work on in the basement a lot for when i don't feel like firing up the woodburner in the garage

I collect Old Drag Racing publications but mainly "Eastern Drag News". I'm about 9 issues from a complete set '62-'65 and it was a weekly publication. early spring to late fall. I also have a complete run of "Eastern Competition News" which was a very rare publication that didn't last long. I have a bunch of SS&DI too. I also have some Lionel Trains including a mint "Girl's Train". I have some toy farm tractors (I H), Sinclair Gas Station stuff and die cast cars including Hot Wheels/Matchbox. My problem is I like to much stuff and I have a race car that keeps me broke. Can't take it with you!!!
Yep, into model trains, the only gauges I don't collect are TT, Z, and G. Everything else, yes. Problem is with all my other hobbies, I have no time to get the track down and run them. I would love to make a coffee table N gauge layout some day. Other collectables: Odd 50's cars (see my profile for list), just need two more to complete collection, but they are big bucks and are hard to find. Old TV sets and radios/receivers/tape decks. Lighthouse models.

I believe the distributors for the Ford Y (272,292,312) will fit too on your 317.5 (accuracy counts). I have a 54 Lincoln Capri. I'll check my Hollander's tonight for the interchangeability. (Man that is a long word)
Old military rifles are my latest fetish.......and related gear. We have a modest collection of die cast models, about 300 or so......and a few 1/18 scale airplanes on the wall of the shop.......... Always looking for any old military rifle..........anyone have any they want to sell or trade? Mark
I used to collect LOTS of stuff. I had large collections of model cars (500+unbuilt kits), hot wheels (1000+) and 58-61 tonka trucks (50 trucks). I also had more "real car" stuff like Metalflake wheels, and early hot rod parts. Unfortunately most of it had to be sold off to fund other necessary stuff now that I'm in the "stay-at-home Dad" role. I do have a very large magazine collection (2000+ issues) Including all R&C from 53 and up, All the Hop up from 51-53 and Carcraft from Honk to 1965. plus all the newer titles. I definately have the collecting gene, and when money's freer, I WILL hit it hard again!
Hub Caps, Licence Plates and Frames, Die Cast Models and it's looking like Grandkids (I have 10 of them!).
big 1/8th scale model cars (always looking for the Volvo Semi Truck!), 90's era packard bell computers
