I don't know, I like all kinds of cars been around one or another being built my entire life, I'm currently building an old Jap car, but I'm not a tuner since it has no fuel injection or computer, and i'm not a ricer, my car is well built without cheap junk hanging off of it. I make all my own parts so that would make me a fabricator, plus I'm a machinist, Who knows, I'm guess I'm just a guy who likes taking cars no one cars about and making them cool and unique. tried to stop working on then once in a moment of insanity, worst week of my life. All I know ifs if I go out in the garage with a good shirt I'll ruin it pretty quick. Ask my wife about that, I don't own a single pair of jeans without grease or oil stains.
pretty much retro renaissance. gearhead through and through with sprinkles of asshole, grease monkey, rockabilly, good ol boy, hell raising hillbilly... i dunno what im called lol
There is no such thing as a r** rodder. Some guy who builds an inexpensive souped up piece of tin is instantly labeled a r** rodder, but isn't that what hot rodding is and has always been about?
uh, no. most people mistakenly call hot rods rat rods just because they dont understand the style or the hot rod itself. when you build a hacked up, thrown together, ugly POS thats as reliable as it is unsafe...then you are a rat rodder and should be discarded as a cancer on the hot rod scene. shock value goes a long way in a show....that is, when you get thrown out!!
my mom calls me a grease monkey, my pops calls me a fool. I'm just a jackass of all trades who loves cars.
A gluten for punishment. I take cars that most wouldn't even want to start on and totally restore it to a hot rod. Wife says I'm loosing it or stupid everytime that I start on another one. Always one waiting in the wings before I'm done with the present build.
A guy who likes to use the hamb board for pre '64 hot rodding information, help, buying and selling, the occasional badass picture...not pointless threads.
Motorhead/gearhead, hot rodder(even though I dont have a hot rod), with a bit of tool collector and parts hoarder thrown in.
Italian/American gearhead who loves american hotrods, muscle cars and old Vettes with a shitty atitude towards imports. Glad I got that off my chest.
An investor who can spot the opportunity for negative financial growth in any old car...and take advantage of it!
A work in progress. I'm really just learning how to go about customizing cars so I guess I'm a "beginner customizer". <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
