Nothing. No fishin', no huntin', no golf.

    I drag race.

Cut the lawn or blow snow.

I fix a lot of Macs... PCs, too- for free. Granted, I get paid to fix 'em (I do it for a living), but I'm one of the few lucky ones that get to do what they love for a living. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd still come to work. :)

Quite a well diversified bunch when you stand back and look at it.
For the past five years I have worked on my sailboat when I haven't been working on the truck or one of the cars.
Too many around the place projects that need attending to lately to allow much hot rod or boat time.
This winter it is cut up firewood to keep the house warm.

For the guy who asked "what is snow" I wasn't involved in any of this but it kept me from going over to Seattle and spending money.

    Snow= http://www.flickr.com/photos/wsdot/sets/72157603661683249/show/

This is a slide show on the snow removal on Snoqualmie pass East of Seattle about 60 miles.

  5. This is my last boat. I don`t have any pics of my current boat.

    420 horsepower X 2.

    150 gallons of fuel X 2.80 = $420 fill up.

Are they using a flame thrower to melt snow?

No flame thrower but they use explosives to cause avalanches to happen when they want them to for avalanche control. Knocking the snow off the side of the mountain so it doesn't come down on someone. So far over 200 inches in that area this year.

    Nice trackwork DeSoto,

I'm in 3/16" as well (albeit in 3' foot mostly), founding member of the reformed Slim Gauge Guild in '85 and still there. We have some (fully operating of course) dual gauge and I do most of the tracklaying. You can check our website, it isn't much (we're not computer masters) but there're some pictures of both our layouts. The other one's in HOn3 & HOstd (but they copped out with RTR's & flex :D, the cowards).

My home layout (Defiance & Rogue Creek) is the basis for our "Three Foot Iron" modular group (Sn3 of course). Still fairly small, but growing slowly.

I've also been head of construction on Sierra Madre's Rose Parade float (yes it's a year 'round hobby) for four years now. We've pulled three "banner" awards in the last three years.

Our crew "Geezerspeed" is still trying to get HA/GR recognized here on the left coast so we can run our HAMBster "Barn Job #18" (photos in my sig link). Whenever we manage it I'll be active in promoting and growing the class out here.

I write and play a bit of poetry and music strictly for my own enjoyment, though I certainly wouldn't inflict it on the world (besides, I don't care for the industry).

And when I can I shoot some pool (a left-over from a well misspent youth) and enjoy crosswords as spare time fillers.

As you may surmise, I can't sit for any length of time.

  11. I've been taking Shaolin Kung Fu/Sanshou for the last three years...

Also try to get out to a Red Sox game once or twice a year.

Is this post supposed to be WHAT you do or what you WANT to do? :D
I'll go with this being what I WANT to do and actually do...sometimes....

After I play cars all day at work in the evenings (if I'm not working on one of my cars) I am:

taking care of this little guy, my nephew
    [IMG]

traveling with Denise (wait, does that count as cars? :)), trying to move into my new house (I've moved my cars into the barn, does that count ;) :D), hanging out with my family (I have lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc all nearby), read non-fiction, write articles in hopes of getting published on the big scale someday (wait, that's cars too) and my absolute favorite hobby, SLEEP. I never get enough.

Oh, and I guess I'm going to learn to love to mow grass this summer. At least that is what everyone is telling me :D

    Ah yes, I remember sleep.

Sleeping and "mouth breathing" were two of my favorite hobbies before the girls were born. :)

I would normally like to work on some drawing/design projects that I have in my mind but it seems that there are not enough hours in a day for that. Since I bought my first home, the amount of work that goes into maintaining it consumes my hours after work. I am starting to donate a bit of time to a pitbull rescue as well as devoting a bit of time to my own dog Bubba. I try to play the Drums for about 45 minutes 3-4 days a week as well as trying to absorb as much knowledge in regards to building cars as I can. Trying to teach myself everything is a bit overwhelming. Other then that, I would say that I spend a great deal of time with my wife watching movies or just hanging out doing what ever. No complaints here.

This time of year year can find me in one of ten states watching/supporting my 14 year old daughter cheerleading competitions.

Away from that I have another money sucking passion, flying.

I run, track and field/ cross country. when i'm in good race shape, i race. quite exhilirating.

i also collect track spikes (the shoes used for racing in track)--have a great collection of 50+ pairs. mostly nike stuff, but i do wear-testing for Saucony and i have some cool prototypes from them.

if i'm not running, i like to ride my 1958 AMF Roadmaster Bicycle that i was able to get "running" about a year ago. I also have a 6-wheeled long board skateboard that i like to cruise around town.

i started pin striping in may of last year and am enjoying that immensely. I'm struggling with keeping line consistency, but i'm doing ok with it overall. definitely a beginner. oh yeah, and i'm trying to teach myself blues harmonica.

    too many interests.

Surf! I enjoy driving up the coast with my wife and surfing out of the way places. Love to fish. Still skateboard a bit when a new spot turns up. Endless projects at the house. Although, I'm sure all this will change in a couple months when my daughter is born! Cant wait!:D

I got back into the vintage 3 wheelers when not building cars
    Why
Because everyone says they are unsafe
We lived through them when we were kids and they are still fun
But now challange to get parts for just like cars
    Both Trikes
Cammed, Bored .040 with headers Jetted and regeared
    Both Screem
But then what do I know I am just the FNG
