I just finished building these for a customer of mine... Honduran Mahogany neck, back, and sides, western red cedar top, with rosewood and figured maple trim. Mother of pearl inlays all handcut, finished in 12 coats of nirtocellulose lacquer. Fishman ellipse blend preamp. The amp's an all tube 30w combo with reverb in a hand-built solid pine cabinet.

I play guitar and double bass which is both a hobby and profession. Life can be beautiful. I used to be crazy into model trains. Still get the tingling feeling when I see a set.

I work. On the weekends though, I sleep in to 8:00. (When you get up at 3:00 during the week, 8:00 really is sleeping in.) Then I usually get roped into helping my parents work in their backyard. They usually ask for my help because my dad's getting old and he can't do it by himself anymore. We put in a brick walk way and some retaining walls last weekend. Then on sunday nights I have my shows to watch; Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and American Dad. Unless they're reapeats.

That's about it for me. Quite an exciting life. I got a call from writer last week. They want to turn my life into a movie.:D

For a long time I was heavily involved with amatuer radio, but I quit a few years ago. But if this young lady wants a little help with her radio
... I am the man for the job :)

A few years ago, I got interested in the Civil War ( the war of Northern Aggression ... as we southerners call it ) and my wife and I have
been going to some Civil War re-enactments and going to old battleground sites. We have been to Gettysburg, and the places where
Stonewall Jackson's arm is buried and then his gravesite. Vicksburg Mississippi is also a nice place to see
... and lots of southern places.

    I highly recommend Gettysburg ...
