Bill Stinson here. Just curious as to how people on the HAMB make their living.

I've been drawing/painting T-shirt designs and many other things for over 40 years, and I've edited, written and cartooned for national mags...but for the last 37 years I've paid the bills as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Troy, MI. How 'bout you folks?

Thats funny, you live in Livonia and work in Troy... I on the other hand live in Troy, and work in Livonia... I am an Engine Dyno Senior test technician at Roush Industries... interesting job, fun sometimes, pays the bills.. but a long ass drive to work every morning.

I surf the HAMB for a living.

that statement is almost true. I usually spend 2 hours working and 6 hours reading magazines and surfing the internet. I work in a warehouse.. I just wait for orders to print on the printer, then I wait for trucks to show up. nobody here but me, and only 2 employees in the whole state of California... everybody else is back east in Missouri and Kansas,

maybe next week I'll bring in my pencils and draw for the friday art show

I tried to find a post about jobs that was a couple years back, but was unable to find it... maybe someone else will come up with it.

I am a retired underwear model, the long hours, great pay, and notoriety got to me, so had to get away from it.:D

I work for a small tubing company in Ortonville, MI. I drive truck, weld/braze, and just about anything else that is needed to be done around the plant.

I'm sure this has been done but maybe someone got a new job.

I do websites for the good ol' United States House of Representatives. I work in DC a block or 2 from the big Capitol Building. It's a sweet gig. The last site I did was Congressman Cummings http://www.house.gov/cummings/
