Just came in from my garage and an evening of working on my Dodge and I was wondering what you guys and gals listen to while working on you projects. I like to have the TV on the Turner Classic Movie channel , you can see a lot of neat cars in those old movies. At night I like to have the police scanner on just for fun. In the daytime it's classic rock. The rest of the time I'm talking to myself.

Mig, drill press, grinders, hammers, ratchets, various air tools, compressor, stereo, tv, dvds, cds, the normal stuff. My favorite is the song of open pipes.

Mostly Octane 48 or Liquid Metal 42 on Sirius-XM radio. If we get fed up with that we just turn on the CD changer, put it on random and let it rip. There's 350+ CD's in there so it's like having your own radio station without all the bullshit. But of coarse when it's baseball season...You'll hear the Braves playing in this garage every night!:D GO BRAVES!!!

In the Fall, it all Orange around here... Go Big Orange!!! Tennessee Volunteers Football!

Nascar races,PennState and Steelers and some country on the radio (can you tell it's mostly weekend afternoons?), don't have a CD player so it's mostly old cassette rock tapes. That's out in the "Auto Shed". In my general and wood shop, it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

No cable = no tv or it would be sounding in the background.

Radio on either country station or rock station (have two radios, one with each). I'm looking (though not very hard) for a stereo and some speakers so I can play CD's and boom it throughout the shop.

usually just a couple of different radio stations but if I'm popping in a cd then it would be Type o negative, poisonblack or some other hard rock band.

a friend gave me a c.d. of the best of Bob Seger. I've played it over and again for months now and haven't gotten tired of it yet.

Usually the local rock station, but when the reception fades out, I'll play various CD's. Pantera, Slayer, Tool, Mudvayne, etc etc etc

I have a subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio and they have a channel for really old stuff with lots of old hot rod songs like Chuck Berry. One thing I also did was take plain old speaker cable from Radio Shack and ran from my computer through my attic and how to speakers in my garage. That way I can listen to old rock stations from my computer.
