Metal - metallica, accept, iron maiden, slayer, priest to name a few. Oh and you have to throw in “Uncle” Ted Nudgent!
I am a fan of good music of all types. I think the last time I posted on this thread it was George Jones and tonight I started with the Ventures moving to various punk and finished out with The Cure.
You have the right idea. Nothing better than 50s doo wop! Sent from my 9024W using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This weeks it is the sound of silence. No, not that Simon and Garfunkel commy crap - the sound that a broken air compressor makes. It's eerie and unnatural.
RIP El Rushbo. Spent many hours wrenching In the garage listening to you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

The Danish Symphony Orchestra doing movie theme songs, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, A Fist Full Of Dollars, and more on YouTube.
Back in the 1980's and 90's my favorite way to spend Saturday afternoons was working on the Corvair I was restoring and listening to "The Car Show" on KPFK. For a time they had "The Motorcycle Show" that was on after The Car Show and that covered 4 hours of shop work. That was when Len Frank and John Retsick were hosting the show. They had a lot of good shows, Guests like Gorden Buehrig and other interesting guys. The station is not what it was, today it's all socialist political propaganda but then they did have some really good special interest shows and cars in Los Angeles was still a popular subject. The son of Ford GT legend Ken Miles was another of the guest and he told a lot of the stories that went into Ford Vs. Ferrari. A lot of the old time custom builders like guys who worked with Frank Kurtis and Don Edmunds and such. If I had understood how rare the things I was hearing were I would have recorded them all.
I'm strictly traditional in my shop! I hung a hockey puck sized Alexa smart speaker (as you can imagine they're not very loud) in the center of the backside of a '57 Plymouth hub cap on the pegboard, and "Viola!". It works like a Dobro and almost doubled the volume. I've been on a Lyle Lovett kick, but I mixed it up yesterday with Led Zeppelin, and a little ZZ Top. It's nice just telling it what I want to play, and now, after I got my Covid vaccine, all I have to do is think about what I'd like to hear. It's SO much more user friendly now!
I’m boring, sports talk radio and ball games. Give me a break though, only time I turn the TV on is days off late at night to watch a movie before bed.
On certain days you might find me listening to either this , this or this . That last one is for all the Canadian H.A.M.B. ers Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
