The Killers: Somebody Told Me Hello, On our most recent garage clean out (I clean out one-two big drawers at a time) I started listening to a file folder on our Ipod Touch MP3 player. The whole music folder was set up during our foray into competitive sailing trek on a small sailboat set up for fun sailing. Flying Tiger 7.5 in the Dana Point Harbor Before we started to go down to the docks and then, out of the harbor, we listened to The Killers “Somebody Told Me” started the feeling of going up against the elements and other sailboats. It was a pumped up feeling of us against the wind and nature. As the quiet electric motor took us out, I could still hear the music in my brain. Once the sails were up, it was us against the elements. With any wind over 12 knots, the little low slung sailboat was fast and cutting through the ocean. But, fine adjustments had to be made as the wind got stronger and the currents/waves began. With my wife on the front jib lines, and me steering/adjusting the mainsail, it was a fast track over the ocean waves. We usually don’t like to get up on a rail, as there is a fine point that acceleration becomes limited, so, we knew the heel angle for best performance. That description memory, gave me the impetus to actually like what I was doing in the garage. I knew how I used to get pumped up at 4:45 am in the morning, listening to loud rock music, during my drives down in the 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery with the 327, to the surf spots along the coast. It made me look at my own daily driver car that needed detailing, which was coming at a later date. But, the drawers were the first thing I needed to clean out and give easier access to what is actually inside those deep drawers. Those drawers are wonderful for storage, but as my wife says, "What goes in hardly ever comes out." Ha! The counter and two drawers out of 12, got thinned out. Our minimalist results and functioning, works well for us. The colorful lights were for a " get happy" mood, during the 2020 pandemic visits with social distancing and a heater.

I’ve been listening to Patrick O’Brians Master and Commander book series that I downloaded from the library. Quiet and easy on my frazzled brain.

Black magic woman has to be my favorite Santana song probably because I knew who he was. Here is another one 30 years later.
My buddy used to be Wayne the train's road tour manager, so I got to party with those guys a few times. Got barred for life from the blind pig in Ann Arbor hangin out with those lads one night! Lol. Ahhhhhh, the good old wild days. He also worked for hank 3 and Dale Watson, so met those fellas as well. Whenever he'd come thru Michigan I'd hang out with him and whoever he was working for. I got to hang out on a tour bus with hank 3, Beck, and the guitarist for Jesus Lizard for a little 'post party'. That was an awesome night. My car got towed, lol....
Been listening to the Dead Daisies lately THE DEAD DAISIES "Long Way To Go" (Official Video) - YouTube
