YouTube has employed several systems to protect the ownership of creators and the rights to reproduce the work. The platform uses several automated methods like Copyright Verification Program, Content ID and copyright strikes to prevent copyright infringement. A lot of users report receiving SME Copyright notice when posting music on different websites. Kinda stupid when you can use the share button.
