For those into original, Leadbelly was singing this in the 30's, although this recording was a few years later.
jnaki - that Led Zeppelin tribute is an awesome version done by Heart with Bonham's son drumming. Add the rest of the musicians and chorale - WOW! I have the Led Zeppelin IV album that I listened to many many times years ago. As for what I listen to in the garage it's mostly 70's and early 80's classic rock. Guess that pretty much will date me. I seemed to have been focused on certain artists back then but now I am listening more to what I missed to get a larger variety.
Hey 57, It is/was and awesome version of the classic song by Led Zeppelin. Going through the rest of the Led Zeppelin videos was the version where I got the finger pointing action by Robert Plant. The Wilson sisters definitely rock out and seem like they haven't lost much in their talents, too. Jnaki My wife and I started together listening to our LP albums in our small apartment. Then as the years progressed and our music apparatus took on a more powerful approach with some new equipment, these classic songs from the LP albums and from the digitally remastered CD's of their time sounded great. These days, our Ipod Touch mp3 collection plays all of it in true digital form and sounds. Plus, we can take it on the road during those long stretches of empty highways. We are not locked down to our turntable like we used to be a long time ago. note: if you want to connect to the original person who posted the information, use the @ sign along with the name of the person... @57t if i continue to type in your letters, your photo and official name will popup. I can’t play music in the shop, garage, etc when I’m zeroed in to get something done. Background talk radio is about all I can handle to break the monotony. Maybe if I could roll one in for sanding, painting, etc. it would be different. Damn I’m aging. But I sure did enjoy the music clips!
Brian Johnson before he started singing for AC/DC ,,,,,completely different voice. One of my favorite albums....
I’ll be darn, I was an AC/DC fan from way back. I never ever thought to look into his career before he was brought in.
Some time back, Australia still made cars . This was before anti-hooning laws that forbid circle-work (doughnuts). GM Holden used that soundtrack in a TV advertisement. Cheers, Harv
