Thanks! Another "new to me" artist. The guitar work isn't all that flashy but it sure gets its hooks sunk into you! Did find a newer cover of the same song but it's smoothed out most of the rough edges of the original. Still some tasty slide guitar work though.
This is mostly for us raggare (greasers?)who grew up in the-70s if you lived in Sweden,Finland or Norway. These are 3 gentlemen from Finland who didn`t really know English,but they did the best they could.We didn`t understand all of their lyrics either,,,,,but it sounded so damn good to a 16 year old kid in a 1964 Impala coupe. .
In Lafayette, Indiana the High school ( Lafayette Jefferson) has a local FM radio station. They play music from the 50’s through the 80’s. When you listen, it’s as if you put your playlist on shuffle.
This is not for everyone,it appeals to natives or vikings,,,,,or not! Me,,, 50% Swede 50% Dane=100% Viking. If you dont`t like the music,,check the background.Think the title means Spellbound in English. And I get an intense feeling of invading something!
An amazing voice. Made me go and look out over the coast just in case there were a bunch of hairy, helmeted Nordics coming our way in longboats Cheers, Harv
