Hello, My wife and I have been together since our chance encounter in a college class. Since that time, we surprised everyone by dating and eventually getting married. Our lives have been wonderful and its history winds all over the place together as a couple. A couple of days ago, we got a big package in the delivery service. During the pandemic, the backlog at factories all over are/were behind in delivering products, so it was a happy moment when the package arrived. We were going to open it together in the garage. I thought it would be fun to listen to our mp3 flash drive with all Neil Young songs from our past collections when it was all LP albums. Now, digitally, it sounds just as good if not better or at least clearer than those old LP albums. The core of 60s rock and roll/west coast jazz music ...LP Albums So, with our laptop hooked up to several external speakers, we had a great time listening to the flash drive that instantly brought back memories of those early 20 something carefree days. One of our favorite songs was my wife’s choice back then and now. When it came on the playlist, she stopped for a moment and had a great smile like I have seen before. Harvest Moon by Neil Young That song brought back our coastal touring days of stopping in some off beat old wooden cabin for a short stay and eating great food at a neighborhood café. Care free and wandering around just because we could… under a late Summer full moon. On this day, it was a “Snow Moon” as the previous week’s storm brought down some heavy snow in the local So Cal mountains as well as all over California. Jnaki As we continued to get the stuff out of the big package, the music being played, continued. When we were finally finished, our conversation turned to convertibles, since we were so close to our two daily drivers in the small garage. Then I told her of reading about Neil Young’s Red 1953 Buick Skylark, similar in looks to the one we would have bought if it was for sale in Newport Beach. Years ago when you could download music for free, I downloaded a ton of oldies, blues, rock, classic rock, etc. onto an old computer which I have in the garage. I just light it up, pick a genre and let it go on scramble. I also have flash drives loaded for the road. This gives me the opportunity to take my tunes with me wherever I'm travelling.

Not so much as listening but I often hear my wife asking when I’m going to be done in there. I don’t really really listen and spend more time there. I tend to hear that a lot sometimes.
