i dont like to name drop but i listen to punk, rockabilly, metal ,and kroq here in L.A.

  2. Red Sox baseball games on WRKO Boston Sports Talk
Radio and Rockabilly CD's most of the time.
I've got Sirius Radio too but only listen to 50's music on ch.#5.
Spirit, the Christian music station on Sirius, has some nice soothing contemporary sounding music.
It's different from anything else on the radio.

The Absolute BEST SOUND to listen to in my garage?????
OPEN HEADERS, LUMPY CAM, 11:1 COMPRESSION brand new engine, test firing on a Saturday night and breaking it in.
    PRICELESS!

Bob uecker calling a brewers game is usually on during the summer,
If its music, it could be just about anything.

  7. Sirius 27 HARD ATTACK?
I dont know how you can stand it.
My son is the "Stream Jockey" on weekend mornings for Hard Attack and I've tried repeatedly, numerous times to listen to his gig on that station.
I usually get thru 2 songs at most..............then kill it.
I flat out hate the songs Peter plays, I guess I'm gettin' old right?
I hope he does'nt read this thread, he'll disown his old man for sure.
I tried raising him on The Cure, Devo, The Plasmatics, and other 80's groups.
Later I tried introducing him to Rockabilly, failed at that too.
    I guess I'm a failed parent. :(

I listen to a variety of music from Rockabilly, R&B, Doowop, Early Rock, Country and some Opera. Football when it's in season on the TV. I find the Three Tenors very relaxing........

The soothing tones of the torch cutting metal, the sing of the grinder shaping a part for fitment, the clicking of the ratchet.Never had a radio in a garage in 48 years and aint about to start.
