just looked at it yesterday, little bit of rust through here and there but the big thing it is missing a drivers side fender

what do you guys think?

Looked at the ad, I don't see rat rod there. Just an old car that has not been restored or messed with.
So If it interests you, go for it, just please don't r_t r_d it,... that's like soooo over.OMG!

 

Looks like a good start, hard to beat that price for what looks like a fairly complete car.

If you LOVE rat****rods then you're in the wrong place.
If you wish to build a cool cruiser then we're in business.

I think your a clown if you want to build a "RATROD", why not buy it and make a nice car out of it instead of one of those ****ed up no direction half finished projects they call rat****rods!!

Hell Rocky you got no imagination.

Just envision it with a big ol' rooster comb welded to the roof, a skull and X bones crudly painted on the door, an inline 6 with bird shooters poking out of the hood.

I am not sure how rare a Chevy Torpedo back is, I am sure that the current owner isn't sure wither hence the low price tag.

It is a good startig place for a mild custom I suppose.

A VERY RARE 1951 Chevy Grab it and make a nice cruiser for your family, not a Rat**** Rod . Some average body work, garage paint job, lowered, nice WW tires, clean up the inside and get it running and stoping safetly and cruise it That old Chevy will make a great cruiser, but it's about as RARE as my '51 Ford . Good Luck, keep us posted with photo's.

Now that I'm here ,
I think 400.00 for that car is a great deal.
I think I like ******s ideas but think rat rods ****.
I think lots of others have now seen the good deal and
I think it may be gone already.
I think If I were closer I'd go snag it.
I think ol skool 51 has a great plan for that car
