I just got some renderings done of my wife's Studebaker and want to see what you guys think. A big thanks to Eric Brockmeyer for all the help and the quick turn around! Enjoy!

I apologize for the links, but I didn't want to reduce the image size/quality. Let me know what you think!

Paint will be Electric Blue Metallic with PPG's eggshell clear to make it a satin/suede finish.

    very nice renderings,
and of one of my favorite body styles ever.

the color is perfect and the stance is right on.

of the two wheel choices, I like the painted ones..
but if that's the only difference you could swap wheels all day long and find a hundred combinations that would look just as perfect.

    I like it!

Nice renderings, I personally like the steelies out of the two but I've seen a few in old car mags with Olds fiesta spinners and whitewalls and they look great.

I like the Kidney Beans. Gives it the Salty look.

  8. One of my favorite body styles as well. Love the color and either wheel choice works. Very nice.

Some day I'll post the story of how my buddy's wife GAVE AWAY his '58 Studie while he was fishing in Canada. She's his ex-wife now...

Those Raymond Loewy designed Studes are sweet. I'd go with the steelies, but that's just me.

    The renderings are really first-rate.

I think the car looks "cheerier" with the steelies -- whitewalls generally read that way to me -- but it looks more purposeful and more finished with the kidney beans. I'd personally do it with the steelies and WWWs but I'd use hubcaps; could either be dog dish or Fiesta/Lancer spinners.

I'd also make it shiny, but that's just the way mah maw larned me.
