  2. If you don't need something too sophisticated or expensive you might try this free version of Serif PagePlus.

It's an older, stripped down trial version but it's still pretty flexible and can probably do 10 times more stuff than you'll need it to. I think it might even let you save your work as file types that some commercial printers can make use of, though I haven't tried this myself yet.

CS3 from the clay house building material will run ya about 1700 hundred bucks, let me know if you want to go in for half cause i do too! jk.

whats the flavor of the show? I'm talking more style than "how to" but i does matter. If its a slick show with trailer queens have it McDesigner, traditionals/don't say RAT ROD fits the grit and grease style more, do with you own two hands. Thats how your built your car, right?

NOTCH had the best idea as far as i'm concerned..."SanJoseStyle"
loved your truck in RJ#37 if thats you NACHO!

  7. Things with "Adobe" before the name... Illustrator, Photoshop, Pagemaker.

If you are going to be taking the original on paper to Kinko's, it doesn't matter what you use...

A good, legible flyer done with scissors, scotch tape, and sharpies (even if a little "home-grown looking") will draw me in much better than a poorly done deal from a computer.

I'd rather see no art than clip art.

The flyer should tell me everything I want to know, and nothing more. Make the When & Where stand out from the rest. This can be done by making it bigger, bolder, and/or a VERY different font from the rest of the text.

I bought an inexpensive,(under $10.), basic, program called Printshop. I use it to make flyers and party invites.
