My wife kicks ass.

I can bring home any bucket of shhit as long as I get it running. This means that she authorizes my spending $$ on cars.

As far as the HAMB goes... I'm in front of a computer most of the day anyway so HAMBing is done at work. At night the wife likes to watch those CSI shows so that's when she does her thing and I do mine... luckily there's always a CSI show on TV.

I also spend a lot of time on www.losboulevardos.com site. She hates that becuase they're a bad influance on me

 

My fiance always asks:

"why don't you look at porn on the internet like every other guy I know"

Little does she know this is porn x 2

my ex wife let me rebuild carbs in the living room on the coffee table, i even clamped a vice to it to hold the carbs, my first ex girlfriend after her said i was not allowed to own a motorcycle but thought i looked sexy in my 68 camaro, the ex girlfriend after her called my 45 gmc a "piece of shit truck", the girlfriend i have now i dont think she knows what to think just yet, time will tell.

 

My wife of 30+ years obviously knows I'm a gearhead. She jokingly calls the HAMB my "Auto Porn" site. The other day I asked her not to use that term around our non-car friends, they might not understand!!

 

Man, I feel for some of you guys. Grow some nads!!! My wife is kool, appreciates my car thing, leaves me alone and if she bitched...would be shown the door. Life is way too short to listen to some nag.

 

just like a couple of you fellas, i too get the slight eye roll and slow shake of the head from the wife.

she is impressed, however, with the "virtual brotherhood" part though, like when hamber's have saved our ass when weve been broken down on the road in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere....

that said, i do spend too much time on this thing...

HAHAHAHA i was on here last night as my girlfriend was getting dressed to go out to dinner. I could hear her in the other room bitching becasue she didnt likethe way she looked in her clothes. She then proceeded to get pissed off at me becasue i was reading the HAMB and didnt turn around to tell her she looked great............she said three words to me the whole night. It was a peacful night i must say

 

my wife is cool with it.. casue she knows where i am ....

 

My girlfriend has no idea what this is. I tell her I'm on the HAMB and she replies, "I told you pork is bad for you. You said you were gonna cut down on meat." hahaha too bad, bring on the cars and bacon!

 

My wife doesn't say much about the car stuff or the HAMB. After 15 years, I think she has given up. Besides, if I'm on here or in the shop, she gets the remote.... and it's better than the places I used to hang out!!

 

My wife and 2 daughters don't really give a rat's ass about old cars so when it comes to the HAMB, who the hell cares what they think??

 

I use to say to my wife, how can you spend so much time on that computer. She bought a new one an gave me her old one an set it up in my own room, now she walks by and says, how can you spend so much time on that computre laughs an walks away. Acouple weeks ago, crashed my comp. so she bougth me a new one. Great lady, and by she likes cars too.

 

Maybe if i didn't spend so much time on the HAMB and at the shop, i'd meet a girlfriend or have a wife???

 

My wife hates every thing I like and or do. My car will never see the road.

 

My wife can't really say too much, because as far as shes concerned her father can do no wrong, and he's the one that introduced me to the HAMB.

 

my girl thinks i talk to much in general. but really hates it when i start talking cars. my family tells me that i need to stop talking cars all the time, but they support me. they tell me they are glad that im hooked on cars and not CRACK

 

Well, I'm only 16, so no wife. At the moment no girlfriends, but most of the girls are always whining about old cars. They're always barking "Why don't you get a Mustang, or a truck? That would be sexy..." blah blah blah. Yuppies.

My family is all into hot rods, except for my mom, because she thinks cars are more of a tool to get around.

 

in my new found single status i have been in the garage more than i have been in my house! i think getting a divorce wat the best home improvement i could have made!

 

my girlfriend said it was hot when I said I work on my own stuff......after 2 months she is not soo sure. If I found one that worked on em and was cute thats the one I would not let slip away.

 

When I'm asked what I'm doing .... I say Working. LOL
