What does 4 bolt mean?

    My o/t pony with the 4.6L has 6-bolt mains...I think..:confused:

    Ok,most guys i know ''down here''prefer a 4bolt sbc,with an 010 block,the 010 being higher nickle content and therefor,stronger,along with a steel crank.If your building a big HP engine,it stands to reason 4 is stronger than 2,ok!TMO.
    Now,this sheep thing comes from the Kiwis,the men wear Gumboots24/7,ask em why?

    We all had to start and learn somewhere. Some grew up learning from family as kids, others learned from friends, still others learned from books, now we have the HAMB. But almost all us learned from making lots of mistakes instead of asking questions or for help ... I know I did.
