I was going to paint my 63 Bel air wagon that Kia *GASP! limey candy goldish puke green color that they have on their station wagons mixed with some HOK green flake and a white roof, but I came across this 63 on ebay the other day and love the color too-

It's PPG radience - green base with a sunshine yellow candy and lots of clear - this creates a crazy antifreeze green. whatcha think? With a bit of fine green (or gold) flake I think it would look bitchin' with the white roof and green interior.

BTW the wagon is going down on air, grille guard, frenched caddy tails, chrome reverse w/ sombreros (bullet) caps, drag blocks, bellflowers, functional fenderwell dumps and 3" whites just to get an overall picture. It's going to have that so Cal flair up here in igloo bacon country- i think it's going to be rad, and REALLY different compared to whats up here- what do you guys think?

I like the color and another way you can get that effect (anti freeze) is to put down silver flake then go over it with HOK lime gold kandy with a little KK organic green intensifer in it

Do it, do it, do it!!!!

Instead of gold flake, use silver. Gold might be to yellow for that.

Good luck, should be pimpin' when its done.

15. I like the GREEN, go with it!

As for the new flat black...im not sure but I was looking at a trukin' magazine and the front page said, Flat Black was back in....Did it ever go away? :)

16. Looks like a Triumph motorcycle color called Roulette Green. it looks non-metallic here, but it's like a lime green with gold metallic in it.

I only have a few small shots of that car- the flake on it is a little too 70's raceboat coarse for me, but the color is beautiful

dang blast it. Why is everyone going green.

Was gonna flake my roof green...maybe I'll go red now. Ah fuck it. I'll do what I want.

I'd say the same for you. Screw what everyone says. If you like 70's ford pea green or 80's cadillac crap brown who cares. Do what you want.
