I have an old Mallory Magspark distributor that I have been told fits an early hemi ?331? It measures 43/8 from the end to the mount surface. It is Part number ZCM 270K. Can anyone verify exactly what it fits?

Sure looks like the one in my 392. Not sure about the length but it's for a Mopar.

    Mopar, for sure...

LA style distributor measures about 3-7/8"
331/354 distributor measures about 4-5/16", so that must be the one.

    Wanna' sell it?

Yes, I wanted to know what it fit so I can put it on E-bay. It belonged to a friend of my fathers who had it in his tow car in the 50"s and pulled it when he sold the car.

According to the Mallory paperwork I have, 270A-X is for a 1951-1958 314-354 CID Hemi, Dodge/Chrysler/DeSoto, 8 cyl, RH rotation.

Thanks Tom. If anyone is interested, look for it on E-bay tomorrow as soon as I can get a good picture of it. It is complete in the (ratty) original box with Magspark coil and instructions
