    Mine smells like smoke/fire from setting the firewall insulation on fire while I was welding up some holes. Just a tip for the uninitiated: that old horse hair stuff smolders rather than flames. So check well, check often! lol

    My Poncho smelled terrible the day I got it..Now I´ve changed the steering wheel to a three Spoke Metalflake one...the smell is gone...maybe the pre-owner had a little "wet smelling Hands"? :D

    wo! this thread is really startin to stink! maybe its time to end it. before we do, lets see we we've learned?

    1.chemical decomposition of some steering wheels are the cause of some foul odors. change your steering wheel often!
    2.rodent **** is giving a literal definition to the phrase "rat rod"
    3.some people have bad hygiene.
    4.a few of u are definitely drinking and driving.
    5.GM has secretly seduced the auto buying public for over 50 years with a "secret scent"
    6.alot of horses were killed to make your seats so soft.
    7.cars are still often used for ***.
    8.pine trees will forever be a best seller.
    9.nothing smells as cool as an old car!
