I picked up a chrome 31 1/4 inch front spring on the cheap, the chrome was pealing and some rust, so I sand blasted it. and now it looks good. Being a budget builder I thought about a tube axle, but most of the bends for the drop are too narrow. What axle spring perch holes am I looking for? I read somewhere there should be a 4 1/2 difference from axle holes to spring eyes. is this correct? will it make a difference if its a 1/4 + or - ?
No, it wont make a difference 1/4 or not, and a rule of thimb is 4 1/2 inch difference like you stated. Rich
