Wouldn't a Caddy V16 have that as well?

  6. do the dual plugs fire at the same time or do they fire one right after the other?

I don't know anything about the caddy dist. Hell I don't even know anything about the Nash except my dad had one when I was a baby back in 1956. He said the Nash was the one used in the conversion he had to run the dual spark heads. I'm sure a special rotor would have to be used to do that, fire two plugs per cylinder at once.

As a side note and something that has abslolutly nothing to do with this, my dad had that engine in a 41 pick up back then. He was mainly a chevy guy (chevy kid, he was only 19 or so) when he couldn't get the 41 to stop running hot, he traded it to a friend of his for a hand gun, a western style six shooter. His friend shot himself in the leg fuckin around showing my dad and their wifes how he could quick draw. Don't know what ever became of the truck but I still have that gun and when my dad died this old friend calls me to see if he could get back the gun. I told him sure, I'll trade it back for the 41 pick up. Haven't heard from him since.

Do you just have just the cap or the whole distributor? If yes, could you show the distributor. Marmon and Stutz also had twin plug straight 8 engines.

Eddie meyers are also cast for two plug, notice the oblong spark plug recess i dont know if the modern ones have enough meat to drill it for two plugs though
