Technical What era is this Simpson chute lever

I bought a K 88 dragster a long time back rob parts from and for a pattern. I removed and inventoried everything. I didn't pay much attention to the parachute release lever until I looked closer today and saw Simpson stamped in it.
What time frame did this come from? Any help would be appreciated.

Had a late sixties Logghe ch***is FED with that chute handle . Simpson chute housing and driver suit.

 

Thanks for the input. It came from a fancy rail for the day. Figured it got put on later to meet tech. Any and all info is welcome
