Hot Rods What ever happened to FORGED magazine

A while back (maybe a year ago?) A new magazine popped up on the market. FORGED---I saw issue number 1 and never saw any further issues. It leaned toward the traditional rods and customs side of the road, with some interesting interviews and articles about interesting cars. Personally I liked the magazine and wanted to see where things went with the next issue. It appears to have been California based, at least on the publishing side. So my question is-----Where did it go???? Bill Rinaldi

 

Actually it's been two years since they published issue number 1(a copy of which I own). After that, zip, zero, nothing. I tried google and found nothing.

YEP----I got into the publishers data base (Engaged Media) and apparently it was a "one hit wonder". There is an Australian magazine with the same name but DEFINATELY not the same magazine. Too bad. Bill

 

They started it back in 2015. Tom McEwen was behind it (Yes HTe Mongoose). They did a nice little story on my Anglia, but I guess they only did a couple of issues and as of 9-16 they had abandoned the trade mark
