The '32 Fordor that Tom McMullen was building in Street Rodder way back when? It was chopped, sectioned, channeled, and probably some more things that shouldn't be talked about in public. I don't remember that they ever finished it - or at least I don't remember seeing it finished. I thought that it was a wild car. What other cars can you all think of that "disappeared" before their time?
Dick Dean was doing the metal work.It got sold,I think around the same time Tom McMullin got divorced.Couple years later he had a huge shop with every tool imaginable. Not sure if it was ever finished.

The car was finished, but I don't think it was ever shown in the magazine after it was done. And the "Texan" (maybe) Willys. I think it was a Chisenhall/Vintage Air car that was another magazine project. Larry T
I was just thinking of that Anglia, last I saw they replaced the front axle with a heavier piece better suited for the street. They made a big deal about bringing it back, and promising to follow it through to completion, and then....... How about David Snow's Project FU,from the old Iron Horse magazine ? And his wifes BSA. How about "New Angle Anglia". It got shelved when Rod and Custom went under, resurrected at Hot Rod. The car was finished, but I don't think it was ever shown in the magazine after it was done. I heard the New Angle Anglia is on the cover of Street Rod Builder this month. I haven't found a copy yet, so I don't know too much about it. Off to the shop. Larry T
Let's bring back an OOOOOOOLD thread... I've been looking through my old '70s vintage Street Rodder mags and wondered about Ganahl's beautiful '32 Chevy coupe (which was reported to have been sold when he left SR) and his Chevy more-door. (STILL wondering if McMullen's "Our Low 1" ever got on the street...)
