I think the K-frames on the General Lee must have been made out of memory metal, like Christine's bodywork. Self-healing is a property of Chrysler products. And Pontiacs with Endura bumpers.

 

my understanding was that they had over 100 of those cars as back-ups. break one pull out another and start repairing the last wreck. i saw several clips where they didnt cut it quick enough of crumpled fender and bent bodies. i am mopar all the way since 1961 but no brand out there would or will stand up to what they did.

 

I was trying to be sarcastic with the General Lee thing guys .I knew it was Bullshit when i was watching it at 8-9 years old on TV when the show first came out ...
