I have found 2 vehicles on the H.A.M.B. recently that I really wanted. The first I PMed 5-6 times, e-mailed. No reply A few days later it's posted SOLD. The second, I PMed 2 hours after posted. Asked for pics and location. nothing. Checked posting. E-mailed and PMed that I am serious. Still ZIP. Isn't the idea to sell the thing? I have the CASH. Has anybody else had this happen or is it just me? When I list for sale,I try to help in any way I can to get it sold. My A was bought by a HAMBer in Canada. We called and e-mailed back and forth and now it is in his garage. Took a while to arrange transport, but Isn't that what it's all about. To work with other car guys? What gives?

The firs guy probably already had it sold and just didn't answer PMs. Then he seen he was getting OMs about it and figured he should mark it sold.
The second, hell ya never know man, maybe he's not so serious about saling it or maybe his comuter f'ed up ya never know.

who the hell knows. even on the H.A.M.B. i guess there are guys who don't have the constant deceny to get back to you, whether sold or not. sort of like the rest of the world recently.

I've sold a few things on here and always try to get back to people. Even if it's been sold, I still PM back to let them know. In these days when money is short, it's good to make as many friends as you can. Never know if down the road that message you didn't return has something YOU really want. Works both ways.
