Hey guys, I'm at the point on the build to deal with gl***. Looking for a 40's 50's custom look for the car. Bought the car with dark tinted gl*** which isn't gonna work. I'm starting with the windshield. What would be the correct color? clear or green. Leaning toward green to help on sunny days. Did a search...found nothing.

Green or Blue were used in the 50s. What colour will your car be?

Blue gl*** was the hot ticket for customs in the mid 50's. I don't think you'd find any tint at all in the 40's. Depends on what period you're shooting for. Green was also available by the early/mid 50's and would be period-correct although that was typically factory stuff on new cars, the blue was what would have been cool in your custom.

My Deuce ain't a custom but I used green gl***in it and much happier with the green than the light gray in my Deuce sedan. HRP
