What happened to post count?

Just noticed my post count is about 1/3 of what it used to be, and back to being a member.

 

I just noticed that it looked like i lost about 50 posts? i don't really care but just want to know what's up?

 

same here 2600 ish to 875....I think it may have had to do with the Cl***ifieds....

 

Don't know that it really matters but I went from nearly 2500 to 733. TP

 

Me too. I lost about half of what i had, and i'm back to being a senior member..
I guess when they changed over the cl***ifieds it deleted what was there including what ever post's were logged in that forum.
So, if you posted in the cl***ifieds, that post no longer exists..which is why there has been a post count change.

I'm curious too - mine went down by 1/3. Is that what happens when you go away fo a week? I don't think I've ever posted in the cl***ifieds so I don't think that's the cause. But I guess I should ask what happened with the cl***ified's that I missed?

Ha ha ha! I guess I'll just have to hit "submit" another 700 times to get my count back up! Perhaps we should all start at 0 again?

well how relevant was the all the "wow cool car wish it was closer" and "btt" really for post count anyhow?, i lost alot of posts too
seems alot more then i might have posted in the cl***ified but awhwell..

 

I lost far more than I've posted in the cl***ifieds, so the reason must be something else. Doesn't bother me a bit though, it's what you say that counts.

Like I said - I never posted in the cl***ifieds and my count went down by 600 so I'm not sure your statement holds up.

 

Same thing happened to me yesterday. One minite i had over 900 and a few later i'd lost 500 and i have not used the ad's, so what's up??.

 

You have got to be kidding ...I really dont think that's the reason.

Its the fricken "One word, one liner comments" that people interject on posts, especially in the forums to "boost" thier numbers from 1-1000 in 3 days.

Who cares about the numbers, but I dont think people rocketed numbers by posting, "wish I was there, or BTTT" all day long.
