History What happened to those old cars?

This is what happened!! My Grandfather is in the drivers seat. This photo was taken around 1951,in the mountains of West Virginia, they used this as a farm truck. My Dad remembers cutting the body away from the frame using an AXE! He also told stories of the kids driving it to the swimming hole, turning the engine off on the downhill sections of road to save gas. Nice truck!

We had a 50 Studebaker that we hacked the body off on the farm and tore up the field roads. One day my dumbass brother takes off across the plowed field as fast as he could go and hits a dead furrow. The car stops right now and the motor keeps going across the field. It was a funny sight.
