I'm sorry about creating a new thread about this , but seems my thread about Gaz-23 build has disappeared Even statistics->find all my posts does not display any of posts to that thread. I have tried to contact Ryan, but seems he have some troubles and have not enough time to reply to PMs. May be someone can help me? SOS

hmm it's quite strange because thread existed more than a couple of months... =) May be some technical problem?
There has been threads that ran for years and got deleted for some unknown reason,off topic,drama or just a disgruntled member reported it. BTW,as 36-3W said,,it's a big club,,we all have had threads deleted or closed,,some had merit some didn't.HRP
That was the V8 Gaz Volga police car was,nt it. I have an old Volga in the shed as well , i think the problem was you made the panels fit to well . Not like the factory misfit.
I'd like to see it back, lots of good tech in there, a nice job on an unusual car built in a regular guy's shop.
I just did a search for Gaz-23 build and it came up. I do not know which page it is on but it is there.
The project was kind of off topic as I recall, using a modern car, with new sheet metal built on it, in an "old" visual style. The work was being done with amazing techniques and craftsmanship. I can understand why it was deleted. I can also understand why it lasted for a while. Perhaps you could find another place to post the build pictures? There are other forums that are not limited to traditional cars.
Ta Daaaa, me me. We all screw the pooch occaisionally, it only means that we have yet to reach nirvana. I am making changes to a project pretty soon that I am sure will leave a mushroom cloud when it is removed. Oh getting back to the question, normally if you have a post or thread deleted you get a Pm stating so. I would contact one of the other mods or search a different forum then that it was originally posted in. May be that it just got moved.
I went to the search function at the top of the page and typed in Gaz-23 build and three posts cane up. The search function in the black section not the red at the top of the page, just tried it again and it is still there.
It's a large club that I also am a member of.......it's Ryans Toy Box and I've found when your playing with someone else' toys....they make the rules ....like them or not and they don't have to give a reason........over the years I've learned to live with it..........not to say it hasn't make me mad as heck sometimes...then I cool of and move on.........as you should do too.
Not only have threads disappeared, Seams For Sale adds that run for a long period , are also gone with no trace...
Don't feel bad it happens to me all the time. Did one with my antique gas pump after I couldn't find the original, deleted. Did one looking for where Barret- Jackson would be televised, deleted. I give up!!!
This was my last one that got deleted from classified for sale section....said the car was not traditional
