[/URL Yesterday the wife and were walking around in the mountains by some property The family has owned for years. We were walking down an old road that leads to The remains of an old stage stop. I started remembering my brother and I Walking the same path 40 plus years ago, and I told the wife there should be An old car up and to the right,,,and there it was,..I'd totally forgotten about it!! I up righted the side assembly and it was quite apparent at that point what it was . As far as make and year ,,Icant be certain. There is a complete cowl tag,i have a pictur of it. there is another area where i found some remains, the blue/back roof section and fender.uunder that roof section there is a door.ill get back up there and dig it out and see whats burried !! So ,,,what is it ??
Good running board, splash apron. The quarters have the bottoms intact so they are useable as patch panels. The fenders are rough, but you can sell them, someone will straighten those. They look good compared to nothing. I'd bring it all home, give it a scrub and start trading. From your profile, looks like you're into 50'-60's stuff. Is this the start of a 30's build for ya? I'm doing a pro-touring first gen as well.
Danny, the '26 didn't have the body lines that show on the side of the cowl and rear quarter- will probably be a '27 when all is said and done.
