Yeah my computer is back online after it died due to a nasty virus..So who has gotten any new toys? I have picked up a 48 ford 2 door sedan from radshit..and for my new daily driver i have gotten another 56 Dodge coronet I'm going to get my friend to take some pictures of it so i can post it.
Only has 71,484 miles on it bad part is it sat for so long everything is gummed up on the carb tried to take it for a ride around the block after i drained the tank and flushed the fuel lines and put fresh gas in it but it wasnt having any part of it..first time i had to walk home in along time.
oh well at least i have something else to work on to keep me occupied when i get tired of working on my other 56 and the 48. [IMG]

speakin of walkin home, let me tell u what I did the day before yesterday. Ok here it goes. I was gonna jump off my spare ride and take it around the block. And if anyone knows anything bout newer cars the computer has to relearn everything, the idle, mixture all the stuff when the battery has been disconected. Anywho what I mean is sometimes right after u hook a new bat up and start it, as soon as u let off the gas it may stall if it hasn't learned everything. So anyways I fire the old bitch up makin sure not to let the idle fall down too far and I take off out the yard and get down to the end of the road to the stop sign, and I let the damn thing stall out. So I pop the hood, grab the booster pack that I brough with just in case, I got out and shut the door. I opened the hood and hooked the booster pack to the bat only to hear the doors lock as soon as I gave 12 volts to the car. SO now I am sittin in the road with a car with no tags and my keys locked inside and its cold...... SO I just sat down on the bumper and waited for my dad to get home from work since he was sure to ride past where I was. And he JUST happened to have a spare key to the car with him. THANK GOD. I felt like an idiot..

old habit i'm into: when i stop for gas or anything short term, i always roll the driver's window down far enough to reach inside for the lock; JUST IN CASE...

Hey Radshit i thought you were supposed to be getting rid of stuff not collecting more..look who's talking i have to go back up north to pick up another 56 Dodge 4 door for a parts car when i get up there i'll look ya up.
Hey Root no the hogs didnt get me but the neighbors think i have gone off the deep end.Since i live in a small town everyone knows what you are doing before you do the guys that have old cars but keep them in the garage have been banging down my door since Radshit brought the 48 down they are in a state of panic because i keep telling them that i'm going to straight axle the 48 and put the nose in the air and radius the rear fenders to have some huge slicks sticking out..god its worth the look on their face.
And Spudz ive been there the 92 chevy pick up i have that is going to be my daughters toy has those pesky locks that lock when you start the truck..had to go make a spare set of keys after i started the truck to let it warm up and couldnt get back into it until the wife came back with her set. At least i can get into any of the old cars i have without to much of a hassle..well its time to go check the carb and see if its done soaking i would like to get it running today but i dont think the weather is going to cooperate..its snowing..oh well where's my heavy jacket?
