I used*******'s when I was into muscle cars. On my last T Bucket, I used Patriots. When those kept breaking, I went to Gear Drive. Matt makes some damn good headers and they won't break the bank.

I put a set on my F100, straight from Won Hung Lo. Yep, Epay specials. Couldn't build 'em for what they cost.
I worked for Hedman for years and had my own custom header & chassis shop from '93 til around '05. Just like the house painter whose house needs paint, few of my driver cars had headers. The ones that did - I built 'em.
I did score a nice set of******* Super competition headers for my son's '64 El Camino, $35 at Turlock and I got an extra driver's side for $5. I worked out a couple of dings, sandblast and paint and they look great.
    My Chinese pipes, we'll see...

  5. Was going to try building my own. Bought all the stuff. Than I was at a swap meet and saw a pair of Stahl up-sweep dragster headers for 80 bucks. Brought them home flipped them over. And with a little work they are now fender-wells on my car.

I have some Sandersons on my 40 they seem nice but for some reason they made the passenger side too tight to the motor for no apparent reason. I have to run ceramic plug wires. I actually showed them this at the Louisville Nats last year they said they would make me a new set for that side no charge. Pretty classy on their part I thought.

Open, whenever possible- 427 Fords will do that to you. If you've never heard a good 427 with a lotta squeeze and a lotta stick, you'll never understand. Absolutely the best Chebbie aggravator ever lol...

Is it bad to admit I spent money on*******s too? Well for a 1 st gen Camaro . Hedman's have always been great, Recently bought a set of TCI which I heard was patterned off the now extinct S&S. They are nice. I've fab'd them myself but it took quite a few hours.
