    Bought the same one for my 49 Dodge...what are you designing exactly....the intake ? so you can defrost also ???

    This photo was taken during construction of my avatar. The heater I bought at least 25 years ago from J. C. Whitney! I think I paid around $80 for it at the time. It has a two speed fan and it will run you out of the cab of the truck on high speed. I wish now I would have bought a couple of them for that money.

    Assuming the question was for me, my primary goal is to be able to keep the windows clear in cool damp weather in Minnesota, but not for real cold heater. Most of the air and hear will go to the windshield. will post more once i have the new fans and have the sheet metal fabricated.

    sidevalve8ba Your JC Whiteney looks identical to the factory installed heater in old Massey grain combines I have installed them in two old roadsters. 12 volt they work great & cheap to buy. speedshifter Greg

    I am using a Ha-Dees that I cleaned out and replaced the motor with a 12 v Red Dot, and will knock out the plugs and run defroster hoses. IMG_3611.JPG IMG_3612.JPG IMG_3614.JPG
