My son sent me this picture of a van he took on missionary trip to Mexico. He said, “what the heck is this?”

Anyone know what the heck this is??? I don’t think it’s a friggin VW?

And just like any other "What's this?" thread on the HAMB, it also turns out to be a Dodge.

 

We had one as a work van, and with a little hacksaw and filler work changed the front badge to "BUMMER".

 

This one was an Austin.

 

Sold under the DeSoto marque.

There was a late '60s copper(?) colored one for sale in Grafton(?) in 1998 or so. I considered it, but it was gone relatively quickly from craigslist. I wonder what happened to it...
