I would love to have met and talked at length with the late great Smokey Yunick. The things that man accomplished is mind-boggling. A treasure trove of hot rodding information.

Somebody that rarely gets mentioned. Dick Magoogerac. I know I butchered his name but you've heard of Magoo. He was building old style hot rods years before it became fashionable.

  29. My top four :

BARNEY NAVARRO - IMHO the unsung legend in hot rodding
DEAN MOON - do you need to ask?
    STU HILLBORN - racer, innovator
DEAN BATCHELOR - WWII aviator, designer, racer
BOBBY MEEKS - for his Flathead savvy
CLAY SMITH - for the same Flathead know how

Already met Vic Edelbrock Jnr....would have love to have met Vic Snr.

    Rat

  30. Oops I forgot....

Harry Westergard - for his kick ass, taildraggin, kustom kreations in the 40s.

    Same for Sam Barris too...
