I have always thought a '55 Chevy looks so cool when the front bumper has been removed. HRP

I know, no pics never happened - but, in High school had a '55 Chevy Hot Rod that I took the front bumper & splash pan off & coils packed full of spacers for the race car look - but, it was totaled in wreck when hit by drunk driver - transferred drive train to a replacement '57 Chevy - parents said to leave bumper on, OK ? - one day parents head out for the day - I hit the garage & just get bumper unbolted and parents come driving back - they forgot something - Yikes!

Home made nerf bars - like it better than when it had bumpers.

Guys, guys, guys! I don'r consider tri-five Chevy's or any fifties cars to be "Hot Rods". To my mind, a "Hot Rod" as a stripped down modified automobile from the twenties or (mainly) the thirties. That being said, NONE OF THEM!.

Had all the trim polished and chrome done for my 57 150....Somehow the front bumper never made it to the plater:rolleyes:

Not a fan of the no bumper look. My cars always have all the chrome and stainless they left the factory with. No bumper to me looks unfinished. My 64 Biscayne is that way. IMG_0812.JPG

001-1955-chevy-gasser-orange-crate-verschave-front.jpg I kinda think 55-56 Chevys look the best, as long as all the rest of the car falls into place. Mitch
