History what hubcap emblem is this??

went scrapping a few weeks ago, saw this wheel there and grabbed it out of the junk. has a weird almost chevy looking bar with a pinwheel around it.

i found some early 30s chevy wheels that were the same size but had different caps.

 

damn nothing? lol

 

I suspect it's an aftermarket replacement. 10's of thousands were made and sold so folks didn't have to buy the expensive factory parts.
