Long ways to go yet, plan is to drive to B'ville and points west this August.

Wish I could say that I did. Got a 24 year old kid that is the painter at the local Chevy Dealership, he also did most of the body work. Car used to be a H.T. now has a chopped folding top. The Dealership let us use the booth to spray the car.

BTW I checked those headlight rings, the damm things are brass also. How soon do you need em. There are 5 or 6 of those cars in my local yard. As soon as the snow gets below 3 ft. deep I'll get out there with a magnet and get you a pair.

Damn, that's nice....makes me want to go tear my car apart and redo it! I that an olds column you are using with the olds wheel, or did you shorten one?

It's a shortned chevy van column, took of the collar and filled the holes. That wheel is just temp to move the car around with, I am using a 58 Imapla wheel that is painted to match.

Denise; don't you worry about Big Olds, that car is more that WORTHY, lot's of miles and lot's of fun on it already. I'm just worried that I won't be able to keep up with my little 6 banger. See ya in Indy.

Hey, you can't see thru the floor. What the hell kind of project is that? Nice paint too, but I'm digging that solid floor and the dash. Nicely done.
