Finished bending up a tubular frame and skinning it with aluminum for the hood on my roadster.

This is a real PITA without a sliproll, but it came out pretty good, I think.

Lookin good!! I got a little bit done this weekend, but not that much.

Got my new carb installed, had to do a little bit of creative interpretation of the installation recommendations, but who reads those anyway? Also gave the car a decent tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, etc.)

Sadly, my huge thunderbird aircleaner won't fit anymore. Looking for other options as we speak....

For once, I'm able to contribute work on one of MY cars to this thread. I rebuilt the stock 2bbl for our '58 Olds and then we added all-new ignition components and fired it. It runs like a top, a little bit of a lifter tick, but it's been parked for 24 years, so I think it'll go away. Now that I've heard the siren song of 371ci of olds power, I'm motivated. I've got a leak from a fuel line that I'll look into tonight and next Weekend (Wed-Sat), I've got a '68 Olds 88 dual-master that I'm gonna try to squeeze in between the steering and floor on my car - worst m/c location ever. I also checked the lights/signals and they all work. Still need to plumb up manual oil-pressure and temp guages to make sure there's nothing catastrophic going on. BUT, it might just be on the road to the cinematic. Fingers crossed...

Plans are to do the bodywork and set it up for the J/2 intake I have - just need to rebuild the outboard carbs and swap my original one in place. Oh yeah, it needs to be loudened, but I think the exhaust might just BE IN THE WAY of the rear brakes (or at least they were if the woman asks why her car's so much louder). I guess it could use some lake pipes and a heavily-flaked roof, but that prolly wont happen before the Cinematic...

Hung out with DirtyT on Friday, did some girly stuff Friday night, Fixed up some screens in the house on Saturday, then when to the Bluesfest, then on Sunday I put some wheels on my sandblast cabinet and contributed to the deliquency of a minor by welding the back half of a 2 stroke Go-ped to a electric Razor Pocket Rocket for a kid down the block. He's been annoying the neighbors with it since about 5 pm yesterday.

worked on the yard and cleaned out the storage building all day saturday. Sunday pulled everything out of the shop that would roll and started rearanging trying to get some usable space again. Moved everything back in about 6PM. Looks different, still have to scoot sideways between the cars, motorcycles, trailers, ect. Oh well, kept me outta the house for a day. THink I'll do it again next weekend.
