Spent the weekend in Seattle to see friends and attend the indoor show.. spent Friday touring a few shops and Sat and Sun checking out buddies projects. Sunday we took the trailer to dig out a Model A sedan that was buried deep in a garage of a gentleman who recently p***ed away.. Here are a few pics (some are not the boards style but cool anyways..) First Stop was Byers Custom and Restoration currently have several rare Ferrari's getting ready for Pebble Beach, a few hot rods and a chopped gullwing mercedes getting touched up. First up is a 58/59 Ferrari that was one of 5 built by the factory for racing, only 4 of the 5 have been found to date. This car is being restored to the '59 Sebring race configuration
Next stop was to another friends shop. Wicked Fabrication. He has a small shop but is building a *****in 64 fairlane for a customer that wants to compete for the GG street machine of the year compe***ion 05... 427 Ford, twin blown, trick frame...
here are two pics of buddies rides in progress.. first is KustomBuicks soon to be radical custom 53, getting ready to install new front and rear bumper, kaiser grill and put it in solid primer for the summer. next winter it may get a fastback roof and ??? Oh ya its low
Here is another buddies sportcoupe turned roadster. He is 6'5" and fits in it fine.. has a early hemi going in it also
and his latest project a 30/31 sedan more door that will a extra cab pickup in the future. We spent Sunday pull **** out of the back of an old garage to get room to get it out . The owner p***ed away recently and his sister was selling everything cheap.. 300 for this pile of stuff.. complete body and suspension plus a few other things thrown in
here is the last pic from my weekend adventure.. this is the garage space where the model A had lived for the back decade.. this was just after we got it out.. you can see the cat litter where the ****** was leaking...
That Buick is really cool, and sits just right. That pile of A parts looks to be a hell of a deal. Cool stuff! -Joe
Well, was it worth the trip? I'm jelous, being from the pacific N.W. myself. But Seattle is just a touch too far north for me and too close to the water.....cold and damp. Nice photos of a good time, it appears.

I love Ferraris, always have. Our neighbor had a 64 Lusso when I was growing up. They just look like an Italian car should. I always rode my bike down there when he washed it. One day I will own one.
