And a few more races along the way. After the Hamb dragster was sold this past spring it was time to build a new race car so here it is.If you recognize the outline of the car it's because I used a Total Performance King T kit for the start. It's the same car that Street Rodder magazine is using for there build project. It's powered by a alky burning 380 in Ford windsor, glide trans and 9in rear. It's been a blast to build but nothing comes easy you guys know that.Had a lot of good help from my friend Mike Brown the best welder there is. See you guys at Mokan 2009.:):)

Thats a cool little 1/4 mile car. Of course it would be a lot cooler with a stroked FE in it.:D I loved the "T" with the FE in it last year at the HAMB Drags. You would'nt be bringing this to Goodguys Indy next year would you?? If you do I'll see you there and good luck with the build.

I actually helped Ted alot on this build...my job was to stand around with beer-in-hand yelling: "Work faster, damnit!"

Anice looking car TED and we know BROWN will do a first rate job BUT I find it hilarious you would choose a pg for a****** inyour hamb drags car

  24. That thing DRIPS cool!

I'd ditch the rear suspension though... that paralell four bar is smooth riding, but gives you little, if any "instant center"... so, basically, the car isn't going to transfer any weight on the back tires.

What other bars are you going to add to the lower shoulder bar down to the frame?

Very nice! I want to build one of these so bad. Hafta agree with SamIyam. Might want to go with ladder bars or a solid mount rear.

You could be very right about the rear suspension Sam,but I think I'll try it first. Lots of T&T. All the bars has been added since the photos. Thanks

That thing is *****in.... And for what you are doing, that 4-bar setup should be just fine. I can't wait to see it...
