    With the emergency brake there, I think that it is some Mopar unit.

    Mopars had the tailshaft brake, but the early stuff was a in-out, forward-back shift.
    I think both of these have the OD solenoid, but look at the shift arms.

    Thanks guys, he’ll get more photos and some numbers if there any. My thought was Mopar also.

    it's a Dodge!

    this is the 1966 version, after they got rid of the drum parking brake in the early 60s.

    Notice it has no low gear synchro. My wife had one like that in her 70 Dart, one of the very last non-synchro 3 speeds offered.
