I'm freshening up the 283 in my 58 chevy truck.
So far it's bored .60 over
    Flat top pistons
Pertronix Ignitor II Ignition set up
    Headers
2 1/2" Duals with Dynomax Bullets
RHS 200cc Iron heads with .015" shims (close to 10.5:1)
    Howards solid cam 244/244 @.50" on a 108 L/C

The trans is a TH-350 Shift kit
Converter hasn't been ordered.. going to get custom .. I think it will end up being a minimum of 3,500 if not 4,000

Rear is a Ford 9" with 4.11 in a detroit locker.. thinking I might go deeper on gears though..

I need a new intake so I'm up for anything really.. I know the RPM air gap is the way go to right now.. anyone think a tunnel ram will do alright?

Might as well add to the overkill and go with the tunnelram.

if you want to maximize horsepower then the air gap is the way to go .... If you want old time cool then tri power is perfect ...
