[ QUOTE ] Pics from Sept. 1962 issue of Car Craft, be patient: [/ QUOTE ] hey if anyone is interested, this chevy is still rollin the streets of vancouver to this day!!!shes's a bit rought around the edges but a great piece of vancouvers kustom history..
poncho, I thought that car looked familiar, I saw it and met the owner at the first Unfinished Nationals in '93, great over-all execution. sounded like it changed hands a few times before he bought it, wonder who owns it now? Paul
All the cars on the page of the rod mag still exist today. Terry Kong in the Vancouver area still owns the chopped chevy. It was voted one of Car Craft magazines top 10 customs in North America in 61 or 62. It resided in my garage in Mission for a few years in the 70's. The chop, licoln quads and packard tailites and leadwork was done by Jack Williams in Vancouver in 59 or 60. Nutz
someone needs to post some pics of the imperial customs 60 buick. I love that damn car. heres the my attempt at a little 60's flair.
I saw that pontiac at goodguys, the interior is super smooth. You did notice that was a 60 pontiac a few posts up right?

here's a link to previous pics of my '65 Riviera... I think it's pretty damn 60's style... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=221736&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1#Post221798
Edmurder, that car is one of my favorite 32's ive ever seen! I love it. Unfortunately my issue of Rod & Custom with it in it, got messed up in water
That would be Axels old coupe. Lots of cool stuff here. I can only second the things said about Mox Millers 58 Impala. Its breathtaking! It still exists in perfect condition in Mox' garage.
[ QUOTE ] I don't have a single complaint about this car, and I complain about damn near everything... [/ QUOTE ] How about, "Needs a Nailhead or 348"? JMHO.
I'd place both the blue coupe and the shoebox as around 56-57, pre 60's style cars. If they were up to the moment 60s style cars they would definitely have skinny white walls, especially the shoebox. the coupe might have WWWs if it also ran M&H slicks which were recaps made on Vogue WWWs.
