So, my Dad just found this in the woods. What was it? Any ideas?

    Thanks for your help!

I think it's going to be a Nash...that's from the front suspension, seems built for spring above upper A-arm.

Show us a picture of the Jeepster that matches the mystery car. I didn't find any matches. Jeepsters have either a Veed or a fold down windshield, the door are different, suspension is different, etc.

Very early ('50-'52) Nash Rambler convertible - you can see where the cowl vent scoop was removed and just barely see where the little vents on either side of the cowl were, and the vent window frame matches (the extruded aluminum window surround is missing).

Jim, you may be right - looking at the images, the wreck does seem to have half of a chrome strip at the top of the windshield - the convertibles I see in photos don't have it. This could be a '51-'52 Country Club hardtop minus its roof.

Sure we can restore it, for a price. But you're not giving us much to work with.

Thank you all for your replies. With the basic shape of the of the windshield, I thought it was a late 30's chrysler, but the door just didn't makes sense. Thank you all for your help.

By the way, you guys are good!

  14. Looks like it's about $5 of scrap from here.

I thought maybe Studebaker, but seeing the Rambler pic and the suspension I agree with that suggestion.
