I found this on the way to my dads today.....sorry for the distance in the pic, thats what I could see from the road with my digicam zoomed in as far as I could....didnt find anyone at home to talk to, and didnt want to get shot at walkin back to it to get a closer pic......left my name and number maybe they will call.....
Looks like a T model touring. Unless your talkin about the green thing, in that case I don't have a clue Later,Mark
That would be pretty bad ass to build a touring. Iv always wanted one anyways, hopefully you get a deal if they want to sell.
looks like a hay baler but alot parts are gone, but theres a T touring in the background. better try and get that
LOL....yea what was I thinking....I should forego the farm equipment and go for the T Thanks Guys I didnt think the grille looked square enough to be a T
The windshield with the upper half that leans back makes it pre-23 but those definitely look like T fenders and it's definitely a touring with those huge rear top bows. I can't make out the shape of the radiator but its obviously not early brass. I think it is in the 1918 to 1922 range. There is one similar to that near me (roadster) sitting in someone's yard but from the street I can tell it's way past restoring.
Who cares about the rusty crap...... look at that fence! With that, you could keep stuff in...... or out.
Hell, take all three in a package deal, graft the manure spreader on the back of the T and have a conversation piece at the next car show...
Hell I say buy the whole property and then build a dome over that field and turn it into a museum, Sights like that are very rare. What is the address for that car?
LOL, the "a fence" comment is CLASSIC! Most of the sightings I see are 50s/60s stuff, and occaisionally 40s, but rarely do I see REAL early tin.......I really would like to get a close up pic for my own collection even if it isnt fosale....but who knows, will keep ya'll posted!
Today while on my way to my dads....I saw a little old lady walking toward the mailbox in front of the property...It was a good thing I drove the 55 Star Chief....Anyways I pulled in introduced myself and asked if I could take some pics. We chatted a little bit and she said sure. Its a 1924 Model T that her father in law bought brand new. I will upload the pics tommorrow. I asked if it was for sale, she replied that she had a few offers......At first she wouldnt disclose what the hi bid so far was, but after we talked about gas and heating oil prices, the upcoming election, the weather, and my love old cars(I think I could have talked to her all day, had I mentioned cats or chickens), she finally agreed to tell me the hi bid, so I could see if I would be a "player in this ball game"..........She said she had a guy offer to buy it as it sets fr $5000.00 I quickly told her that it was to rich for me at this time, but I would do some research and drop by in a few weeks. The good news its 100% complete, the bad news its sat outside for the last 5 years, sometimes under a tarp, sometimes not.....but it was in the shed before that and she said it did run at the time it was pulled out. Anyway check back tommorrow for pics!
I believe you are correct on the grill shell, I don't think it is a Ford. I believe what you have there is Bowtie. My guess 1915 or so Chevrolet 490 Touring...
Sounds to me like you have run into a good salesperson. She knows how to set the hook as we used to call it. LOL Thanks, BOBBY FORD
