CE is a counter engine (factory replacement engine), isn't it? So it could be a 1970 327....????

Lots of ???? on this motor looks to be a large journel crank but the block is machined for a road draft tube the paper work that came with the engine is not a lot of help whats it worth i have no idea

Sounds like it could be an oddball late production 327 made as a replacement engine.

Take it for what it is....it's not an original muscle car engine...

I'm sitting on a similar 327 since 1975 or so. Small journal forged crank, I'd have to run the numbers to determine the pedigree of it. It looks comfy in the corner of my garage.. hate to disturb it.

You can measure the cam by pulling a valve cover and a pair of rockers, then get busy with a dial indicator and degree wheel. If you have access to a bore scope you can peek at the bottom end through the oil drain plug to determine if main caps are 2 or 4 bolt. What casting number are the heads?

That's all I have to offer. I can't imagine one sitting under my bench that long, never fired.
